Reliance Retail’s Azorte launched a 14,881 sq ft neo-store at Phoenix MarketCity in Mumbai on 1 September 2026. The outlet is the brand’s 40th across India. It features smart trial rooms, interactive screens, RFID inventory and self-checkout.
The neo-store design fuses physical retail with digital tools for recommendations, endless aisle and frictionless checkout. Actor Khushi Kapoor inaugurated the space, aimed at youthful premium shoppers. The size and tech stack reinforce Azorte’s positioning in the lifestyle segment.
Floor staff and inventory teams gain real-time stock visibility and lower walk-out rates from size or style gaps. Self-checkout and smart rooms cut queue time at peak mall hours, protecting conversion on higher average tickets.
14,881 sq ft neo-store takes Azorte to 40 outlets nationwide.
Other premium and bridge-to-luxury fashion players in Mumbai malls face a tech-enabled Reliance format that can scale assortment without proportional staff. Shop-in-shop and smaller brands lose share of mind inside the same catchment.
Watch the next three Azorte openings and any festive campaign that leverages the neo-store tech. A filing or management comment on the 50-store milestone would confirm the pace.
