Sneaker brand Comet opened its first flagship store on 100 Ft Road in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, on 3 September. The unit, designed with Studio Ordonnance as a ‘post-impact zone’ with sculptural concrete and wall-integrated displays, will host limited-edition releases and creator events alongside regular sales.
Comet’s first physical flagship landed on Indiranagar’s 100 Ft Road with a molten-rock concept interior that integrates footwear into the walls. The store doubles as a community space for drops and artist collaborations.
A rider or college student walking the high street can now touch the product and join an event instead of waiting for an online restock email. That cuts return rates and builds the brand heat that pure D2C ads struggle to sustain.
Comet’s Indiranagar flagship mixes retail with creator events and wall-burst displays.
The move pressures other homegrown sneaker labels still stuck online and gives marketplace sellers a new offline benchmark for experiential retail. It also tests whether Indiranagar footfall can justify the rent for a young brand.
Watch the first limited-edition sell-through and any announced second city opening before the year-end festive calendar.
