Fresh BSE filing adds another Madhya Pradesh door as the chain pushes tier-2 density before festive footfalls.

Avenue Supermarts opened a new DMart store at Narmadapuram in Madhya Pradesh on 20 September 2026, taking its total operational count to 512. The company intimated the exchanges the same evening. A day earlier it had opened one at Sua Road, Ludhiana, reaching 511.
Avenue Supermarts filed the Narmadapuram store opening with BSE and NSE on 20 September, confirming the network now stands at 512 outlets. The Ludhiana addition a day prior had taken the tally to 511 after the Narayanpur, Dharwad store pushed it to 510 on 17 September.
Shop-floor managers in smaller towns watch these cluster fills closely. A new DMart till in Narmadapuram immediately pressures nearby kiranas on staples pricing and private-label share, forcing them to match everyday low prices or lose basket size.
The network now stands at 512 outlets after the Narmadapuram filing.
The steady door additions help DMart defend against quick-commerce raids on urban baskets while giving suppliers denser drop points. Rivals such as Vishal Mega Mart and Reliance Smart face tighter real-estate competition in the same catchments.
Watch the next round of store intimations through early October and any update on same-store sales as Navratri stocking peaks.
