Lenskart reported Q1 profit of ₹228 crore, up 182%, as revenue rose 34%. EBITDA margin reached 21.7% with product margins crossing 70%. The eyewear retailer continues to expand its store and online mix, taking share from traditional players.
The numbers reflect stronger store productivity and higher-margin lens and frame sales. Omnichannel orders and home try-on keep conversion elevated. Store additions and marketplace listings supported the top line.
At the shop floor a Lenskart outlet with digital eye-test and instant dispensing shortens the customer cycle that old optician counters still stretch over days. Higher product margins fund the tech and inventory that smaller players cannot match. Riders and dark-store adjacent pickup points add speed for repeat buyers.
Profit up 182% to ₹228 crore with 21.7% EBITDA margin.
The profit jump pressures independent opticians and smaller chains on both price and experience. It helps lens suppliers and mall owners with reliable specialty anchors. Quick-commerce and pure online eyewear faces a stronger hybrid rival.
Watch the next quarterly store-count update and any festive campaign spend. Margin sustainability above 20% EBITDA will determine how fast further city penetration can continue without dilution.
