Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust sold a 2 per cent stake in Lenskart Solutions through a block deal on 21 September 2026, worth about ₹2,391 crore. The transaction underscores secondary liquidity in the eyewear specialist amid its store and online expansion.
The block deal transferred 2 percent of Lenskart at a valuation that kept the overall mark intact. Proceeds go to the selling trust; Lenskart itself receives no primary capital. The company continues to add optical stores and expand its D2C lens range.
At the store till the deal changes nothing day-to-day, yet inventory planners still push higher-margin private-label frames. A typical optical counter now stocks more blue-light and progressive SKUs that lift average transaction value.

Existing shareholders gain an exit path while new institutional money can enter without dilution. Rival chains such as Titan Eye+ face a better-capitalised competitor on both high-street and marketplace listings.
Track any follow-on filings or further stake sales before the festive optical demand peak. Store-addition run-rate remains the key operating metric.
