Nykaa added 14 stores in the quarter ended 30 September 2026, taking its total to 338. The company’s Q2 business update on 6 October pointed to beauty and personal care NSV and revenue growth in the high-20s, supported by new customers, repeats and House of Nykaa brands. Fashion NSV growth was expected in the high-40s with early-40s revenue growth, helped by over 250 brands added and the Nike partnership.

Like-for-like store growth hit the highest in six quarters in the early-20s range. SuperStore B2B GMV had grown 17% to ₹340 crore in the prior quarter, though its lower margin profile remains a watch point.

Mall and high-street beauty counters see denser Nykaa presence; independent beauty retailers lose some trial traffic to the expanded footprint and exclusive drops. Staffing and inventory for new stores lift local hiring.

Nykaa reached 338 stores after adding 14 in the quarter with fashion still the swing factor.

The move helps premium and masstige beauty brands seeking controlled distribution while pressuring pure D2C players that rely only on marketplaces. Fashion marketplace sellers gain from the Nike exclusives and brand additions.

Monitor full Q2 numbers and festive store productivity, plus any further SuperStore scaling that could dilute group margins.
