The Outlet Mall of India opened in Bhiwandi on 24 September 2026 as Maharashtra’s first and largest dedicated outlet centre. It offers year-round discounts of up to 70 per cent on more than 100 fashion, footwear and lifestyle brands along the Mumbai-Nashik Highway. The format targets permanent value seekers rather than seasonal sale hunters.

The new Bhiwandi mall launched with a 365-day discount model on labels spanning Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Adidas and high-street names. Shoppers access fresh stock daily at deep cuts.

Till operators at full-price Shoppers Stop or Lifestyle stores nearby now see traffic leak to permanent markdowns, forcing earlier end-of-season planning. A kirana-adjacent apparel seller loses impulse buyers who drive out for bulk value hauls.

Shoppers can access fresh, top-tier stock at up to 70% off every day of the week.

This helps value-focused shoppers and outlet landlords while squeezing premium mall rents and brand full-price margins. Trent’s Zudio and Reliance value formats gain a new competitor on the highway corridor.

Watch October festive footfalls versus traditional malls and any brand pull-outs or additions in the first 90 days of trading.
