India’s quick-commerce platforms have collectively crossed 9 million daily orders, according to August industry figures reviewed by Moneycontrol, as the category heads into the festive season with heavier baskets and wider assortments.

Blinkit leads with 3.4-3.6 million orders a day. Zepto follows at 2.4-2.6 million, ahead of Swiggy Instamart’s 1.3-1.45 million. Flipkart Minutes is at 900,000-1 million, Amazon Now 600,000-700,000 and BigBasket 500,000-600,000.

The top three still command roughly four-fifths of volume. The gap between Zepto and Instamart has widened after earlier parity. At current run rates the six players would process 273-299 million orders in a 30-day month.

Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart together still account for roughly four-fifths of daily orders.

Players are adding dark-store capacity and pushing beyond pure groceries into general merchandise. Amazon has been running aggressive cashback offers to build density in new cities.

The milestone arrives as unit-economics pressure mounts and several firms shift focus from pure order growth toward average order value and contribution margins.
