Fabletics opened its first India store at DLF Promenade in New Delhi in an exclusive partnership with Reliance Brands Limited. The outlet features RFID-enabled fitting rooms that identify products and display them on tablets for size and style requests. A Mumbai store is planned next, though no timeline was given. Reliance Brands operates 1,697 doors across India.
The launch brings performance activewear and accessories for men and women into a tech-led format. Collection includes leggings, joggers, sports bras, jackets and bags.
On the shop floor the RFID rooms cut staff time on size runs and raise conversion. Mall footfall at Promenade now has a new premium activewear option that competes directly with existing sportswear counters.
Fabletics has opened its first store in India at DLF Promenade in New Delhi in an exclusive partnership with Reliance Brands.
The deal helps Reliance Brands deepen its global brand portfolio and squeezes pure-play Indian activewear labels on mall real estate. It also gives Fabletics instant access to Reliance’s retail and digital channels.
Watch the Mumbai opening date and any early sell-through data before the year-end festive window closes.
