Reliance Consumer Products has launched Bombay Creamery, its ice-cream brand made with authentic dairy ingredients, with prices starting at ₹10. The range of cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks begins in Western India before a pan-India push.
Bombay Creamery hit shelves on 1 September 2026 as Reliance Consumer Products’ dedicated ice-cream play. The brand promises real dairy cream at accessible prices and will use RCPL’s distribution and retail network for scale.
A kirana or Smart Bazaar freezer that stocks the ₹10 stick next to legacy brands immediately changes the impulse rack. Quick-commerce dark stores will list it for 10-minute delivery, putting pressure on pure dairy players’ margins and slot fees.
The Bombay Creamery ice cream range includes an array of real ice creams across popular formats such as cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks, with prices starting at Rs 10.
The launch helps Reliance deepen its FMCG private-label and owned-brand portfolio while giving traditional ice-cream majors a new low-price competitor with national logistics. It also fills freezer space in JioMart and Reliance Retail outlets.
Watch Western India sell-through and the pan-India timeline through the festive and winter window. Any volume or market-share update in the next quarterly filing will show traction.
