Reliance Consumer Products Limited launched Bombay Creamery on 1 September, entering the ice-cream market with cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks made with real dairy cream. Prices start at ₹10. The range is available immediately in western India and will roll out nationally through Reliance’s retail and distribution network.
Bombay Creamery debuted with a full format range priced from ₹10, positioned as accessible premium dairy ice cream. RCPL director T Krishnakumar stressed authentic cream over shortcuts, backed by the group’s existing cold-chain and store reach.
A dark-store picker or Smart Bazaar till operator now has a new low-ticket impulse SKU that can sit beside existing frozen lines. The ₹10 stick undercuts the common ₹20 Amul entry points still visible on quick-commerce apps.

The launch pressures regional dairy brands and private-label freezers at DMart and local chains while giving Reliance another high-velocity category for its 20,000-plus store base. It also feeds JioMart and quick-commerce listings.
