Reliance Retail ended FY26 with 20,160 stores after adding 1,564 outlets, including 333 in the March quarter, crossing the 20,000 milestone in its 20th year. Gross revenue rose 11.8% to ₹3.70 lakh crore while JioMart served over 5,100 pin codes via 3,100-plus stores.
Registered customers reached 387 million and transactions hit 1.93 billion, up 39%. Smart Bazaar crossed 1,000 stores. Hyperlocal grocery orders more than doubled in recent quarters.
For the dark store and till this means denser coverage that lets a JioMart rider pull from the nearest Smart or fashion outlet instead of a pure pod. Average daily orders on the platform grew several-fold year-on-year.
Reliance Retail added 1,564 stores in FY26 to reach 20,160 outlets.
The scale squeezes smaller regional chains on real estate and private-label sourcing. It helps farmers supplying 5.7 lakh metric tonnes of produce and gives marketplace sellers wider reach.
