Shoppers Stop unveiled its first premium format store at The Pavilion Mall in Pune on or around 10 October 2026. The three-floor outlet follows the Shoppers Stop 2.0 vision of high-design space and curated brands over dense shelving. The chain reported its highest like-for-like sales growth in a decade at 4.7 percent in FY26.

The store sits in Shivajinagar and targets aspirational urban shoppers with immersive layout and personal shopping services. Personal shopping already contributes 26 percent of total revenue for the retailer.

Higher design and service raise conversion and ticket size at the till. Staff training and inventory of prestige brands become the new cost line for the P&L.

Personal shopping service now contributes 26 percent of total revenue.

This helps international brands seeking Indian gateways and pressures mid-tier department stores that stay transactional. Local malls gain anchor footfall.

Watch festive footfall numbers at the Pune store and any further premium format rollouts before the wedding season peaks.
