Anta launched its first exclusive brand outlet in India at AIPL Joy Gallery on Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram, through a partnership with Brandman Retail. The store stocks technical performance footwear, apparel and lifestyle accessories. The brand posted global revenue of $11.5 billion in fiscal 2025, up 13.3 per cent, and now eyes India’s premium fitness segment.
Brandman Retail plans 20-22 EBOs by end-2027 and a longer-term network above 150 stores. Localisation of merchandise will decide whether the label can challenge established athletic players in metro shopping districts.
Shoppers and merchants see a new premium option on the same corridor as existing sports and lifestyle stores. A Gurugram till now carries another high-ASP activewear choice; inventory turns and demo stock requirements rise for the franchise partner.
First exclusive store opens in Gurugram with a 20-22 EBO target by 2027.
Decathlon, Nike and Adidas distribution and shop-in-shops face incremental shelf and mindshare pressure in NCR. Pure D2C activewear labels lose some discovery advantage once physical presence lands.
Monitor the next two or three city openings and any festive sell-through data. 2027 EBO count will show if the localisation plan holds.
