More than 3,000 products made by self-help groups across Uttar Pradesh villages are now available for order on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Prerna Mart, e-Saras and ONDC. The listing push was confirmed on 16 September as part of state efforts to widen market access.
The assortment covers handicrafts, processed foods and household items produced by rural SHGs. Shoppers can order them through the major apps alongside regular catalogue goods.
For a Meesho reseller or Flipkart seller the new SKUs add low-price festive gifting options without inventory risk. A kirana that once sourced similar items locally now competes with platform delivery on the same products.
More than 3,000 SHG products can now be ordered through major online platforms.
National brands in home and personal care face incremental private-label style pressure in the value tier. ONDC gains another supply node while pure D2C craft labels get free discovery.
Watch order volumes through the Navratri-Diwali window and any expansion to other states’ SHG catalogues.
