CashKaro recorded over ₹1,000 crore GMV across 38 lakh orders on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and AJIO in the six festive days from 7 to 12 October 2026. That is roughly an 18-fold rise versus a normal six-day window. Average order value climbed from ₹1,100 to ₹2,639. Tier-2 cities led growth at 722%, ahead of tier-1 at 684%.
CashKaro’s festive window delivered ₹1,000 crore-plus GMV and 38 lakh orders. AOV nearly doubled to ₹2,639. Tier-2 growth hit 722%, with Bhubaneswar, Pune and Patna topping city charts. Cashback payouts reached ₹26 crore.
Merchants see the shift at the warehouse and dark-store level: fewer low-ticket fills, more electronics, ethnic wear and beauty in single carts. Riders carry higher-value parcels; return rates and packaging costs rise accordingly.
Tier-2 cities posted 722% growth as shoppers bought higher-value items.
Metro pure-play discounters feel the relative slowdown while platforms with strong tier-2 reach and bank-offer stacks gain. Mobile phones lagged 7-10% on higher component prices, pushing trade-in and EMI reliance.
