Reliance Retail has formalised an exclusive partnership with US athleisure brand Fabletics, folding the membership-led label into its premium fashion portfolio. The tie-up uses Reliance’s omni-channel network spanning over 18,000 stores and aims at the fast-growing Indian activewear market projected near $14.63 billion by end-2026.

Fabletics will roll out through Reliance’s specialty formats and online platforms, starting with metro focus on Mumbai and Bengaluru before wider reach. The brand targets a meaningful share of premium women’s activewear in its first year under the pact.

For the shop floor this adds higher-ticket performance wear next to existing lifestyle brands, lifting average transaction value at tills that already carry sports and casual lines. Dark-store and marketplace teams gain a new exclusive drop to push in quick-commerce and app channels.

Fabletics rides Reliance’s full store and digital grid from day one.

Domestic D2C activewear names and other international labels lose easy shelf and marketing oxygen. Shoppers gain membership pricing and wider size runs without hunting multiple apps.

Track first store openings and digital listings in the coming festive-to-winter window, plus any update in Reliance’s next quarterly disclosure on brand contribution.
