Trent reported standalone revenue of ₹5,788 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, up 23% year-on-year. Zudio crossed the 1,000-store mark during the period and the group ended with 1,342 stores after adding 17 Zudio and 10 Westside outlets net. Growth held despite the festive calendar shift into the December quarter.
Trent’s Q2 standalone sales rose 23% to ₹5,788 crore from ₹4,724 crore a year earlier, with H1 revenue up 21% to ₹11,454 crore. Zudio hit 1,000 stores and the total network reached 1,342 by end-September after 27 net openings in the quarter.
On the shop floor this means faster private-label turns in smaller cities where Zudio’s price-speed model fills gaps left by slower international chains. A typical new Zudio till in a tier-2 mall now processes higher volume at lower ticket sizes, lifting overall productivity even as some older stores see softer throughput.
Zudio crossed 1,000 stores while Trent added 27 outlets net in Q2 alone.
The expansion squeezes other value players such as V-Mart and V2 Retail that reported 18% and 28% sales growth but face denser competition on price and location. It also helps local garment suppliers tied into Trent’s primarily domestic sourcing.
Watch the December quarter festive window and any update on like-for-like sales recovery; brokerages remain split on whether newer non-metro stores can lift network productivity further.
