Tata-owned Trent reported standalone revenue of ₹5,788 crore for Q2FY27, up 23% year-on-year from ₹4,724 crore. Zudio crossed the 1,000-store mark during the quarter. The company added 17 Zudio and 10 Westside stores on a net basis, lifting the overall portfolio to 1,342 outlets by 30 September.

H1 revenue rose 21% to ₹11,454 crore. Merchandise sales tracked the same 23% growth in the quarter. Management is now pushing higher store density in mature markets while still entering smaller towns.

For a mall or high-street landlord the Zudio format fills 8,000-10,000 sq ft boxes quickly and drives repeat traffic on sub-₹1,000 tickets. Till operators see faster inventory turns on basics and seasonal drops.

Zudio crossed the 1,000-store mark during the quarter.

The pace crowds Aditya Birla’s OWND! and StyleUp conversions, Reliance Yousta and Shoppers Stop’s value plays. It also lifts demand for apparel suppliers who can feed the volume without quality slips.

Track festive sell-through in October-November and any update on further density targets or Star Bazaar integration in the next business update.
