Trent’s Zudio crosses 1,000 stores on 23% Q2 revenue jump

Zudio passed the 1,000-store mark in the September quarter while Trent’s standalone revenue climbed 23% to ₹5,788 crore. Net store adds included 17 Zudio and 10 Westside, taking the total network to 1,342. More than 80% of recent Zudio openings targeted tier-2, tier-3 and peripheral markets.

A Zudio till in a new Indore high-street location now turns inventory in under two weeks on festive kurtas and tees, giving the franchisee faster cash cycles than traditional multi-brand counters. Staffing stays lean to protect the value price points.

Trent crossed a key retail milestone during the quarter by opening its 1,000th Zudio store.

The density helps Trent pull share from Reliance Trends and Vishal while pressuring independent apparel shops in the same catchments. It also lifts private-label fabric suppliers feeding the own-brand model.
