Trent reported standalone Q2FY27 revenue of ₹5,788 crore, up 23% year-on-year, driven by Zudio and Westside. The value-fashion chain crossed 1,000 stores during the quarter after adding outlets mainly in smaller cities. Net openings included 17 Zudio and 10 Westside stores.

Trent’s Q2 revenue rose 23% to ₹5,788 crore as Zudio crossed the 1,000-store mark. More than 80% of recent openings landed in Tier-II, Tier-III and peripheral markets around bigger cities.

A Zudio till in a new Tier-III mall now turns inventory weekly at sub-₹999 price points, pulling footfall that once went to local multi-brand outlets or older department stores. Staff and lease costs rise with density, yet the model still delivers high volume.

Zudio crossed 1,000 stores with most new outlets in smaller cities.

The pace squeezes V-Mart and Reliance Trends on price while helping Trent’s overall fashion productivity. Premium formats such as Westside gain less from the same small-city wave.

Track store productivity numbers and any festive like-for-like commentary in the coming weeks as Diwali traffic peaks.
