Trent opened its 1,000th Zudio store in the September quarter, taking the total retail network to 1,342 outlets. Standalone revenue rose 23 per cent year-on-year to ₹5,788 crore for Q2FY27, with 17 net Zudio and 10 net Westside additions in the period.

Zudio now spans more than 300 cities and has served over 100 million customers since 2016. More than 80 per cent of recent openings landed in Tier-II, Tier-III and peripheral markets. H1 revenue reached ₹11,454 crore, up 21 per cent.

A dark-store or kirana next door feels the traffic pull when a new Zudio opens with sub-₹999 fashion that turns in under 15 days. Till staff report faster inventory cycles but tighter real-estate costs in secondary cities.

Zudio remains the largest contributor to store expansion.

The milestone helps Trent’s overall fashion mix yet squeezes traditional mid-price apparel and smaller multi-brand outlets that cannot match the velocity. It supports franchise-style partners and fabric suppliers feeding high-turn private labels.

Watch festive sell-through in the new non-metro cohort through Diwali and the next quarterly update for any slowdown in same-store metrics.
