JioMart delivered 42% year-on-year revenue growth in the September quarter, driven by higher average order values and a 24% rise in units per order. The platform now draws on a network of more than 5,000 stores across over 1,000 cities. Digital commerce share in B2C grocery revenue rose 270 basis points year-on-year.
JioMart revenue grew 42% as average order value and units per order climbed 24%. New customer adds and seller base expansion supported the jump. Reliance continues investing in dark stores to tighten under-30-minute coverage.
Dark-store pickers and delivery riders see denser order density, improving trip economics on grocery and now electronics in select cities. A kirana linked via the platform gains volume without owning the last-mile fleet.
JioMart continued to operate as the fastest-growing quick hyper-local commerce platform.
The surge helps Reliance challenge Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart on reach while pressuring their path to profitability. Offline store profits continue to underwrite the digital push.
Monitor festive-season daily order peaks and the next quarter’s digital grocery share for sustained 40%-plus growth.
